🌟 What’s coming up at Kyeemagh PS 🌟
Thank you to the entire KPS community for an amazing week and all your support.
👩Over the last 2 weeks, our dedicated P&C has been busy with the election BBQ and Mothers’ Day stall. With your ongoing support, both events have raised a total of approx. $5000 for our school! This money will go towards new padding for the poles around our school and resources for our classrooms. Happy Mothers’ Day to all of the amazing mums, grandmothers and mother-figures in our community.
🦜Pirate Day is this coming Thursday. This year’s Pirate Day will be supporting Dr Ryan Cross in his important research into the use of T-cells to fight Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), the most rare and aggressive brain cancer found amongst children. Donations made using the QR codes around the school are eligible for a tax receipt.
🌟 Next week, we will celebrate Disability Recognition Week, a time to acknowledge and promote the rights, inclusion, and contributions of people with disabilities in our communities. Let’s take this opportunity to foster understanding and support, ensuring that everyone has equal access and opportunities to thrive!
🚦 It will also be National Road Safety Week, reminding us of the importance of safe driving and pedestrian awareness. This week encourages all road users to reflect on their behaviours and take action to keep our roads safe for everyone. Together, we can create a safer environment for all road users!
